the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown has undertaken
a program of clearance, rehabilitation, and redevelopment of an aren of
the City of Georgetown known am the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Agency
Project No. TEX H-102; and

the construction of certnin living units to accommodate persons displaced
by the activities of said Program; and
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of all the citizens of the City of GeorgetoWl'a
that this area be so improved and redeveloped; and
whereas, such program has been adopted and approved by a vote of the
citizens of the City of Georgetown as required by the Statutes of the
State of Texas providing for such programs; and
