An amendment to the ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
amending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on September'21,
1961, ananding the Zoning District h1p and making this a;andment a part
of the map of the original ordinance; to change the hereinafter described
real estate in said "ity from "R-l" Qne Family nwelling District to PB-l",
Local Retail District, as hereinafter set forth.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
MEREAS, an application has been node to the City Council for the
purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real
estate;
All that certain tract or parcel of lanj out of the N. Porter Survey,
Abstract No. 497, in hilliamson County, Texas, and in The City of Georgetown,
Texas, p2rt of the Second Tract of 935 acres described in a deed to
""illie 'viillianis , recorded in Vol. 220, Page M5,

a deed to irs, Irene billiams Parker of record in Vol. 410, Page 25, Dead
Records of hilliamson County, Texas, more particularly described as follows:
MINNING,at the point of intersection of the West line of interstate
Highway No- 35 and the Worth line of Ranch to lvla'.-t Rea1o. 233f,3;
ThENCE 3 80 deg. 201 0 with a widening of the R 0 W , 14ate 5 feet;
THENCE with the curved R 0 W of Ranch to h1a2 ket Road No. 2338, with
a 3 degree curve to the right, 75 feet to an iron stake, Ranch to Market,
Road, He. 2338 which stonds Q 52 deg. 43 W from the last named point. This

AND WHEREAS, the City Rouncil has submitted the proposed change in
the Zoning Ordinance tc the it Planning Co -mission for its reconnendqtion
and reportS and,
UJ'YRRAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said

Dwelling nistrict, to "B-1", Local Retail District, whUh said meeting was
held on August 18, 1964; and,

Zoning Ordinance gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same three
times in the Williamson County Sun, a weekly, newspaper in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, which said notice stated the time and place of such
hearing and which time was not earlier than Pifteen (l

Georgetown that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning 04

of Georgetown be amended so that the property above de0ribed
shall be
and the same is hereby removed from "R-l", One Kmily Twelling
District,
to "B-l" , Local Retail District.
The enactment of this ordinance being necessary to
the inmiediate
preservation of public business and to provide for the
psual daily opera-
tion of the bunicipal department, it is declared to be

measure, which shall have and take effect following its
present reading
and adoption.
