T_Eat the compensation to be received by the Vlayor
and -Uedeme . of the said City, to be elected at the nezgen-
eral City Election, shell be as follows:
That the A ayor of this City, for his services as
such, shall receive a salary of Four Hundred and Eity
r, ($44-80 e00) Dollars per year., paid in installments of Forty dol
ars (440900) each month.
i< That each aldemm shall receive as compensation
for his services, Four (.�4.00) per meeting for each meetinjj
of the City Council attended by such aledman.
The fact that it is uecc,ssary to fix the coup -
saition of th:. abow- ns�cd officer prior to Vielir election creates
an �er--:-_acy and public necessity that the reir;Aes' pertaing to the
j*ading of ordinances at separate meetings be suspended, and it is
order6d that the same suspended and that this ordinces be at
once po:ssed and that it take effect from. and after its passage.
