I IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, T" 1S :
Section 1. T e property described on "Exhibit A" and attached hereto and
made a part hereo for all purposes which lies adjacent to and adjoins the City
of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and said territory hereina ter described shall hereafter be included within
the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the present boundary
limits of such city, at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corp-
orate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, as described o "Exhibit A"
hereinabove referred to.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed shall be
a part of the City of Georgetown, `texas, and the property so added hereby
shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights and
privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances,
resolutions and regulations of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published and passed in the manner
provided in art. I - Section 1.06 of the Charter of the City of Georgetown,
Texas.

I, Jay C. Sloan, (Mayor of the City of Georgetown, Texas, do hereby certify
that the foregoing and annexed copy of the Ordinance providing for the extension
of the city limits of Georgetown, Texas consisting of 67 acres of land, is a
true, correct and authentic copy of same; and further, that said Ordinance was
approved by the City Council of said City pursuant to the applicable law and
validated by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas on the 14th day
of December, 1970.
