A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ("GEORGETOWN") ANNEXING
APPROXIMATELY 43.13 ACRES OF LAND INTO THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN'S EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION ("ETJ"),
LOCATED AT 2000 and 2200 SHELL ROAD, PART OF THE
WILLIAM ROBERTS SURVEY ABSTRACT 524, GEORGETOWN,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, RESULTING IN AN
INCREASE OF GEORGETOWN'S ETJ; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on April 22, 2025 the City of Georgetown, Texas, received a petition requesting
annexation into its ETJ for approximately 43.13 acre tract of land in the William Roberts
Survey Abstract 524 (the "Petition"), a true and correct copy of such Petition being attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subchapter C of Chapter 42 of Local Government Code, landowners or
residents may submit a petition seeking annexation of an area of land into a City's ETJ; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas ("City Council"), does
hereby find that the forgoing recitals are true and correct and adopts the recitals by this
reference for all purposes.
SECTION 2. To the extent required by state law, the City Council does hereby adjust the
boundaries and limits of the ETJ of the City of Georgetown, Texas, such that the ETJ of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, shall be and is hereby adjusted to add the Area subject to the
Petition, as such Area is more particularly described and depicted in Exhibit A attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, from the ETJ of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

RE: Request for an Annexation into the City of Georgetown Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ);

R432263 & R323695 (the "Property")
Dear Mayor and Council:
We respectfully submit the attached letter of intent for an Annexation of 43.13-acres in the
William Roberts Survey, Abstract No. 524 into the City of Georgetown ETJ. This request for
annexation into the ETJ precedes an application for a Annexation and Planned Unit
Development (PUD) into the City of Georgetown Full Purpose Jurisdiction.
The Property is located on the South side of Shell Road and West of Shell Spur Road. The future
land use designation for a portion of the Property is Community Center and Mixed Density
Neighborhood. The Property is contiguous to the current city limits on the western boundary and
is currently developed with a single-family residence. The purpose of the ETJ annexation and as-
sociated Full Purpose Annexation & PUD is to allow for the development of high -quality resi-
dential and commercial uses and to access the City of Georgetown wastewater infrastructure.
Upon annexation into the ETJ then Full Purpose, the Property owner will withdraw the TCEQ
on -site wastewater TLAP permit application.
Attached to this request is the submittal package for the associated PUD in which we kindly
request Mayor, Council, and staff provide preliminary feedback and comments. Included in this
document are the Development Plans, Concept Plan, Comparison Table, and Survey for your
review.
