AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
SEPTEMBER 1, 1982, AND ENDING AUGUST 30, 1983, A
FINDING THAT A GRAVE PUBLIC NECESSITY EXISTS,
ESTABLISHING A SINKING FUND AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO FILE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE
WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF WILLIA14SON COUNTY, TEXAS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown
that the City cf Georgetown Budget for its fiscal year beginning
September 1, 1982, and ending August 30, 1983, be amended as
follows:
"UTILITY FUND - RESTRICTED CAPITAL PROJECTS" at page 37 of the
said budget is hereby amended to read as follows:

Such expenditures being to correct a water pressure
deficiency in the Georgetown Hospital and Junior High School area
and in other areas of said City, such water pressure deficiencies
creating a grave public necessity and an emergency which could
not by reasonable diligence, thought and attention have been
included in said -original budget.
PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading this 15th day of
November,'1982, and to become effective immediately on such firs t
reading as such passage is deemed to be an emergency for the
reason that the immediate enforcement of this Ordinance is
necessary in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of
the City.
