ORDINANCE 83-5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE
PRESCRIBING AND FIXING RATES AND
CHARGES FOR SALES AND SERVICES OF
ELECTRIC, WATER, WASTEWATER, AND
GARBAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN; PRESCRIBING THE TIME
FOR PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS AND�PENALTIES
FOR NON-PAYMENT; SETTING DEPOSITS FOR
UT!!!TIES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
RESOLUTIONS, AND ORDERS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
SECTION I. The monthly rates and charges for the sales made of services rendered
by the Electric, Water, Wastewater, and Garbage Systems of the City of Georgetown
are hereby established, levied, fixed, and prescribed as follows:
A.
RESIDENTIAL RATE
ELECTRIC RATES
First 30 KWH, $6.00 net, (Minimum Bill)

CHURCH RATE (NON TAXABLE

Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in
any sum nbt less than fifty dollars nor more than two hundred
dollars.
The City Secretary shall cause the proper publication of
this Ordinance.
Passed and approved on first reading this 8th day of
February, 1983 and passed and adopted on second reading on this
the 8th day of March, 1983.
