The City Council met on the above date in adjourned session
for the purpose of considering the increasing 619b electric gener-
ating capacity and the improvement of the water and light plant.
`ayor I71. ?. Smith presided and the following aldermen and of-
ficers were present: Alderman--7. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, W.
S.-rasier, J. C. Godbey and S. E. ',"ilcox. Officers--`"T. H. Nunn,
city attorney; R. 0. Davis, marshal; R. I. `7_rd, manager; lei. L.
Cates, Secretary.
Due consideration was given the report Burns & YcDonnell, con-
sultant engineers, of Kansas City, Yo., recently employed to make
a complete survey of the city utilities.
A motion was made by Alderman J. C. Godbey, and was seconded bT-
Alderman J. R. Chastain that the city purchase additional elecA
trical generating material and make the necessary improvement of
the electric light plant. The motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made By ;alderman J. R. Chastain, and seconded by
Alderman '?. S. Trasier, that the city purchase a 750, h.p. 500
kwh. Diesel generating unit. The motion carried unanimously.
On motion of Alderman 17. E. 7nchholz9 seconded by Alderman
J. Chastain, a resoulution be, read in full to the council
calling.an election on the question of the issuance of Sixty
Thousand (60,000.00)' Dollars of 4evenue Bonds, for -the purpose
of improving the present light-'lantsystem of the City of
Georgetown, Texas. (See Resolution on page 4-A). The
motion carried unanimously, by the following..reco-fd6d Vote:

There appearing no further business the council adjourned.
