town "Water -zrorks Improvement 3onds. The following bids were received;

Alderman J. C..; Godbey presented the tax ordinance for the en-
suing year, and moved that the same be reed. The motion was seconded
by Alderman J. 77. Chastain. 7he motion was carried and the ordi-

On motion of Alderman J. 7. ChEsta.in, seconded by Alderman 2. ;.
Buchholz, th,,t the usual rules for passim ordinances rec irng them
to be read at three successive meetings, be hereby suspended, that
the said ordinance be read by caption and passed to the second read
ing carried by the following vote. Ayes--3uchholz, Chastain, Frasier,
Godbey, 7ilcox. ,Toes --none.

Dollars designated as City of Georgetown '"ater 11,orks Improvement
3onds for the purpose of improving the waterworks system owned by
the said city, prescribing the form of the said bonds and the terms e,
and conditions thereof, and theforms and conditions of interest
coupons, and providing thst the said bonds and coupons shall be
paid from °evenues -Fired by taxa.tion, and levying a. tax to pay
said 3onds and coupons as -ame mature; and declaring anx an
emergency.'

On motion of Alderman 7. 3. 'ra.si er, seconded by Alderman
S. E. -°Tilcox, the the usual rules for pa:.ssing ordinances be
suspended and that the same be finally passed, was car-
ried by the following vote; Ayes--B_-chholz, Chastain, _^rasier,
Godbey, "i�cox. Noes --None.
Mayor ? Smith declared said ordinance duly passed.

EngineerJoe Ready, to inspect the sewer difficulty as re-
ported to the Council by 77rs. Lee A. '-fall pertaininv to her
property reported as follotivs :

A motion was made by Alderman F. i 3uchholz, seconded by
