The City Council met in regular session on the above dtte,
I:-ayor Smith presiding. the following aldermen and offic-
ers were. -resent; Aldermen: F. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain,
11. S. Trasier, J. C. Godbey and S. F. ":`,"ilcox. Officers:
S. A. Hodges, assessor and collector; Alber-It May, marshal:;
I.I. L. Cates, secretary; and 7. -yard, manager of city utilities
Cotton Yard Co.7mi.tteeman reported the receipt of :;P80.62
rent on the city cotton yard, from Cotton Weiaig'-er R. H.
Chreitzberg.
On motion of Alderman J. C. Godbey minutes -of all pre-
vious adjourned and regular sessions of the council were ap-
proved as read.
On motion of Alderman ". S. Brasier all a.p-roved ac-
cocounts were ordered paid.
On motion of Alderman J. C. '-odbey the council approved

Bodges, assessor and collector and Liss Estella Byrom.
On motion 'oflderinan J. C. "odbey, seconded by `.lderman
J. 7. Chastain, authorizing the Mayor and I'lanager of Utilities to
proceed with contracts with regards to tanks for the softning ply,
plant, was carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Buchholz, Fire Committeeman
Chastain was authorized to proceed to purchase the,needed amount
of fire hose.
There appearing no further business, the council ad-
journed.
