Smith, presiding and the following aldermen and officers were present: Aldermen 1% E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, S. Frasier, J. C. Godbey and a. E. Wilcox. Officers: ;i ,11. Nuzn, city* attorney; a. A. Hodges, assessor and collector:; 11bert 1Iay, I,Zarshal. _.Z. L. Cates, secretary and R. E. ':lard, manager of utilites. On. Motion of -�Llderraan Frasier minutes of the pevious meeting. were approved as read. On motion of Alderman Frasier all approved accounts were ordered paid. On motion of A1dei.--..an Chastain the reports of officers, including S. A. Hodges, assessor and collector, and Treasuerer Estella Byrom were received and ordered filed. 1�lanager of Utilities R. L. ';lard presented his annual report for the Geprgetown Water and Light and Sewer plants, which on motion of Alderman J. C. Godbey, was ordered received and filed. On motion of Alderman Godbey the Council a-pproved the following 'Order of election; as presented by ,,,Iayor LI. F. Smith: ORDER OF ELECTION. Notice os hereby given, that by the authority vested in me, I, m. F. Smith, Mayor of the City of Georgetown, Texas, hereby order that the regular city election be held on the 6th day of April, A. D. I937, at the city fire station for the election of a city attorney; assessor and collector, marshal, secretary, treasurer and three aldermen for the said city, and that Lee T11.Taylor is hereby a)pointed presiding judge of said election and is directed to employ such clerks and assistants as may be necessary.
