HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 09.11.1967 - Prohibiting Turning Around of Vehiclesi 78 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOIUN, TEXAS PROHIBITING AND LP4IITINTG THE TURNING AROUND OF VEHICLES WITHI.T SAID CITY: No driver of any motor vehicle shall turn such vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction between intersections nor'turn such vehicle at any intersection where traffic signals are in place unless such movement can be made in safety and without interfering with other —� traffic. No driver of any motor vehicle shall make a "U" turn at'any of i the four intersections of the public square in said City. Any violation of this ordinance shall be punishable by fine of not less than 4`1.00 nor more than $200.00. The provisions of this Ordinance are severable so that any portion hereof, which might be deemed to be void as a matter of law, shall not affect the validity of any other portion hereof.
