Flatau asked for vendor recommendations for inquiring about silent auction donations. • Georgetown ISID bonds coming for elementary schools which includes new instruments for students and new audio/lighting at the Performing Arts Center. EMMM�• Submissions for City Center project, Board discussed how to eliminate barriers for artists who may be unfamiliar with digital submission processes. • Grant letter from Texas Bach Festival (attached). • Report on Georgetown Art Works meeting regarding Veterans in Art exhibit. Current display is from the Sun City Stained Glass Club. Blankenship helped design logo for the festival since the City "G" logo couldn't be used. Staff Attended Georgetown Art Center's Board Meeting on8/13/2O18 a. Interesting presentation by Resilient Me Expressive Arts Program. Possible partnership with Arts Center and Library, b. Big upcoming event: Bubbles and Brew Fundraiser: October 1]`^,7'9pm. $25-$40. They are looking for donations of holiday/Christmas lights with white connecting wires, Money will go towards paying for all their current endeavors, some portions towards Art Hop etc. r. Discussing the role of the board in reviewing murals and how to incorporate community murals into our goals. 13. Discussed possibility of hosting s reception for the sculpture tour with her. 14. Sculpture Tour: a. Received 22entries. b. Staff met with Parks Department oM August 9mt0discuss potential issues. c.
