A. Approval of minutes from November 271, 2018 Civil Service Commission Meeting a. Motion to approve by Commissioner Michel, 2nd Commissioner Zamot , 3-0 B. Discussion and possible action to elect Civil Service Commission Chair a. Motion to elect Commissioner Luis R. Zamot as Chair by Commissioner Michel, 2nd Commissioner Pierce, 3-0 C. Discussion and possible action to elect Civil Service Commission Vice Chair a. Motion to elect Commissioner Hank Michel as Vice Chair, 2nd Commissioner Pierce, 3-0 D. Discuss process for handling submitted promotional appeals a. Tadd Phillips discussed procedures for promotional appeals. Commissioners have copies of appeals, source material, and exam question. Tadd will read the question and appeal and allow the appellants an opportunity to talk. Test writer present today if there are questions related to the exam. 19 total appeals submitted. Per Local Rules Commission can sustain, overrule, or eliminate question/answer based on the submitted appeals. E.
