ORDINANCE NO. 77-15
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP, AND MAKING THIS MAP A PART OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE:
To change the property of River Oaks Landscaping located in the 300 block of Morrow
Street being all of Block 7, of the north Georgetown addition, according to the map thereof
from R-S, Residential Single Family, to C-1 Commercial, local as hereinafter set forth:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing
the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
All of Lots 1 through 8, Block 7 of the North Georgetown Addition, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance
to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and;
WHEREAS, the CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HAS APPROVED THE CHANGING
OF SAID ZONING ORDINANCE ON THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM R-S,
Residential Single Family to C-1, Commercial local, which said meeting was held on the 8th
day of August, 1977 and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same one time in the Williamson County Sun,
weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas which notice stated the time and place
of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication;
and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of lots within 200 feet of the
above described property as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approve the change aforesaid in the Zoning
Ordinance, said approval being given by said commission on Aug 8, 1977;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning described above shall be and the same is hereby
removed from R-S Residential Family to C-1, Commercial Local.

day of August, 1977, on first reading.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE PASSED AND ADOPTED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE
12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,AND
MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL OR-
DINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF PRODUCTION CREDIT ASSOCIATION
ON IH 35 IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ACCORDING TO THE
MAP THEREOF FROM RS RESIDENTAL TO C-2B COMMERCIAL SECOND HEIGHT,
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE, IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of
changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
BEING 1.408 acres in the N. Porter Survey, Abstract No. 497 in Williamson
County, Texas, and beirgout of and a part of 4.47 acre tract of land described in a
deed from Russell Parker, et ux, to Austin Production Credit Association, of record in
Vol. 523, Page 473, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a point in the North boundary line of the above referred to 4.47 acre
tract for the Northeast corner hereof, said point bears N 78026'W, 398.96 feet from the
Northeast corner of the said 4.47 acre tract;

THENCE N 78 26'W, 442.84 feet to a point in the North boundary line of the said 4.47
acre tract for the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE S 33040'E, 280.36 feet to a point in the South Boundary line of the said 4.47
acre tract for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE S 79006'E, 181.40 feet to a point in the South boundary line of the said 4.47
acre tract for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE N 29018'E, 204.89 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from RS Residental to C-2B Commercial Second
Height, which said meeting was held on the 9th day of August, 1977; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zining Ordinance,
gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same one time in the Williamson County Sun, a
weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and place
of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication
and

described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from RS Residental to C-211 Commercial
Second Height.
Read, Passed, and adopted by 3 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 17th day of August,
C 1977, on first reading.
Read, passed, and adopted by 4 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 13th day of Sept. 1977, on
