1.Regular Session
Meeting called to order by board chair at 6:01PM. Pledge of allegiance led by Kevin Tanner,
board member.
1.A GVPID Introduction and Welcome
No action will be taken.
Ashlee Meerscheidt, GVPID board chair led the meeting with a welcome and
introduction. John Mckinney was appointed as vice chair.
Michael Charles, GVPID resident and former board member addressed the board with
welcoming remarks.

Monday, November 13, 2023
The Georgetown Village PID Advisory Board met on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Public
Safety Facility, 3500 DB Wood Rd.
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you

The following Members were in attendance:
Present were: Melinda Marler, John D Mckinney, Kevin R Tanner, Ashlee Meerscheidt
1.B Tree and Landscape Maintenance Discussion
No action will be taken.
-Ashlee Meerscheidt, board chair, initiated item 1.B.
-Eric Johnson presented the GVPID public works tree information handout that
discusses ROW and tree trimming items. Tree vegetation and maintenance within parks
will be maintained by the Parks department. The property owners are responsible for
maintenance of all vegetation to the back of the curb. Requests for maintenance can be
emailed to GVPID@georgetown.org.
-Ashlee Meerscheidt, board chair asked about landscaping maintenance between the
elementary school along Creekside based on resident questions. Eric Nuner mentioned
that Heart of Texas, city contractor, will assess the area for maintenance.
-Kevin Tanner, board member mentioned maintenance along property. Eric Johnson
mentioned to send any requests to GVPID@georgetown.org.
-Allison Snyder, P3 Works mentioned if email is received that is not related to
assessment than it will be forwarded to GVPID@georgetown.org.
-Melinda Marler, board member asked about sidewalk maintenance assessment. Eric
Johnson mentioned to forward any maintenance requests to GVPID email.
-Eric Nuner, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director discussed items related to the tree
and landscape maintenance. Shell Road landscaping will be completed when widening
of the road project is completed. Summers Green concept designs are complete and
survey nearby neighbor will be completed in the coming months.
-Melinda Marler, board member asked city staff is monitoring group festivity gatherings
in the park area. Eric Nuner mentioned that it is not monitored by city staff since it is
not a rental facility managed by the city.
Public Wishing to Address the Board
On a subject that is posted on this agenda: Please fill out a speaker registration form which can be found on the
table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you wish
to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to speak
when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the meeting
being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to speak for
six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor’s granted time to speak. No more than six minutes for a
speaker may be granted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form and be present
at the meeting.
O n a subject not posted on the agenda: A request must be received by the A dvisory Board or C ommission L iaison
prior to the day the agenda for this mee*ng is posted. Each speaker will be given three minutes to address the
Board or Commission members. No action can be taken.
Michael Charles, GVPID resident and former board member wished to address the board on item
1.B regarding sidewalk maintenance and considerations on cost of goods for Summers Greens
project.
