RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE AND
ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
GRANTED TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN ON THE PLAT
RECORDED UNDER DOCUMENT NUMBER 2019117951 OF THE
OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY,
TEXAS
WHEREAS, in 2019, PULTE HOMES OF TEXAS LP, , a Texas limited partnership
organized under the laws of the State of Texas ("Owner"), granted the City of Georgetown a
drainage easement across Lot 1, Block A, of Hidden Oak Subdivision, a subdivision of record
under Document Number 2019117951 of the Official Public Records of Williamson
County, Texas, (the "Property"), for the purpose of facilitating the drainage ofawater across
the Property; said drainage easement being dedicated on the Plat Recorded under Document
Number 2019117951 of the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas (the
'Basement"); and,
WHEREAS, Owner wishes to develop the Property, but a portion of the Easement is
impeding the development of the Property; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonment of a portion of the Easement, such portion of the Easement
being more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" and by diagram in Exhibit
"B" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes (the "Portion to be Abandoned"),
would facilitate the development of the Property; and,
WHEREAS, upon considering the request for the release and abandonment of the
Portion to be Abandoned, the City Council finds that a public need for the Portion to be
Abandoned no longer exists, and therefore the Portion to be Abandoned may be abandoned
and released to Owner or a successor -in -interest to Owner.
WHEREAS, nothing herein shall operate to release any other easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim in substantially
the same form attached hereto as Exhibit "C" and any other conveyance document(s)
necessary to complete the release and abandonment of the Portion to be Abandoned, and the
City Secretary is hereby authorized to attest thereto on behalf of the City of Georgetown.
Resolution No. (A 17-2.5 -- 5.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this Resolution and the City
Secretary to attest. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption and
execution by the Mayor.

TEXAS, BEING PART OF LOT 1, BLOCK A, OF HIDDEN OAK SUBDIVISION, OF
RECORD IN DOCUMENT NUMBER 2019117951 OF THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC
RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS (OPR), SAID 0.225 ACRE TRACT
OF LAND BEING SURVEYED ON THE GROUND IN NOVEMBER 2019, UNDER
THE SUPERVISION OF PATRICK J. STEVENS, RPLS, AND BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING, at a 1/2" iron rod with cap stamped "STEGER BIZZELL" found in the south
line of a called 21.000 acre tract of land conveyed to 2001 Rabbit Creek, LTD, of record in
Document Number 2024029727, OPR, for the west corner of Lot 3, Block A, said HIDDEN
OAK, same being the northerly northeast corner of said Lot 1;
THENCE, South 21"39'09" East, a distance of 97.96 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap
stamped "STEGER BIZZELL" found for the southwest corner of Lot 2, Block A, said HIDDEN
OAK, same being an internal ell corner of said Lot 1, the northwest corner and POINT OF
BEGINNING of the herein described tract;
THENCE, South 65°52'31" East, a distance of 109.97 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap
stamped "STEGER BIZZELL" found in a curve to the left having a radius of 375.00 feet, in
the west right of way of Sand Lily Lane, a 50 foot wide right of way of record in Document
Number 2019117951, OPR, for the south corner of said Lot 2, the easterly northeast
corner of said Lot 1, and the northeast corner of the herein described tract;
THENCE, with said curve to the left, an arc distance of 225.93 feet, through a central angle
of 34°31'08", and a chord that bears South 04"23'35" East, a distance of 222.52 feet, to a
1/2" iron rod with cap stamped "STEGER BIZZELL" found in the west line of said Sand Lily
Lane, same being the east line of said Lot 1, for the southeast corner of the herein
described tract;

2. North 21'39'09" West, a distance of 291.31 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and
containing 0.225 acres of land, more or less, within these metes and bounds.
Bearings are based on the Texas Coordinate System of 1983, Central Zone (NAD_83
(2011)). All distances shown hereon are surface values represented in US Survey Feet
based on a Grid -to -Surface Combined Adjustment Factor of 1.00013.
The foregoing metes and bounds description and survey on which it is based is
accompanied by and a part of a survey map of the subject tract.

For the consideration, GRANTOR quitclaims to GRANTEE all of GRANTOR'S right,
title, and interest in and to the above described Property, to have and to hold it to
GRANTEE, GRANTEE'S successors and assigns, forever. Neither GRANTOR, nor
