The following Members were in attendance: Present were: Susan Cooper, Catherine Morales, Susan R Poyo, Laura M Helpert, Dustin Lujan, Susan C. Raser 1212IMM=- 1. Regular Session I.A LAB Minutes Consideration and possible action to approve the December 3, 2024 Library Advisory Board minutes --Nosa Asowata, Board Chair Moved by Susan C. Raser; seconded by Catherine Morales to Approve the minutes as distributed. Motion Approved: 6- 0 Voting For: Susan Cooper, Catherine Morales, Susan R Poyo, Laura M Helpert, Dustin Lujan, Susan C. Raser Voting Against: None 1-B Staff spotlight Staff spotlight with Cataloging Librarian Lawren Weiss -- Sally Miculek, Library Director Miculek announced that Lawren Weiss was hired as the library's newest Cataloging Librarian, following Toni Nietfeld's resignation in November. Weiss discussed her favorite parts about her new role. No action required. 1.0 Library Director's Report Consideration of the Library Director's report -- Sally Miculek, Library Director Mi[U|ekreVi2VVed end Ofyear statistics with the board, library programs, and discussed changes to library accreditation requirements by the state library. Public Wishing to Address the Board Please fill out a speaker registration form which can befound onthe table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you wish to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to speak when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the meeting being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to speak for six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor'sgranted time 1ospeak. No more than six minutes for a speaker may begranted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form and be present at the meeting. A request must be received by the Advisory Board or Commission Liaisor prior tothe day the agenda for this meeting is posted. Each speaker will be given three minutes to address the Board orCommission members. Noaction can betaken. As of the deadline, no persons were signed up to address the Board. None were present.
