Regular Session I.A Callao order Call to order - Michele jaroszewski-Webb, Board Chair 9:00 am 13 Approval of minutes Consideration and approval of the July 12, 2024 minutes - Michele jaroszewski-Webb, Board Chair Moved by Trisha R Tallman; seconded by Rachel Cummins to Approve. C Project Team & Project Updates Discussion on Project Teams, Partner updates, and BRE Visits - Michele Jaroszewski- Webb, Board Chair - The 15th Annual Swirl planning has begun. The theme of this year's event will be Ruby, Reds & Ros6s. Tickets will go on sale on December 2nd. 2nd Annual Coffee and Cocoa Crawl planning is underway. The event will be on Shop Small Business Saturday, Novembdr 30th, from 1 OAM to 2PM. This year there will be more tickets available and they will go on sale on October 1 st. - First Friday has been moved temporarily to the Founder's Park. With the event being moved, 9th Street will be closed all day from S Main Street to S Church Street. Staff is partnering with DGA and looking into ways to utilize the space during this time and considering possible events that could take place during the day. - Breakfast Bites, September 25th, will focus on culture and hospitality. Rachel and Kevin Cummins, along with Chef Adrian. - Williamson County Art Guild is celebrating the 1 year anniversay of their Rock Street Gallery in October. There will be a reception on the 1 st Friday of October. - Preservation Georgetown Home Tour tickets are available on their website. - City Center bids came in and are being reviewed. - Parking Garage construction is underway. Downtown District Business Survey went out on September 20th. 1.1D Staff Report Staff Report - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown and Tourism Director - Kim gave an update on the Facade Fund. It has paid out $38,395 of the annual budgeted amount. - The 2024 Annual Downtown Christmas Ornament is under design. - A Texas Commission on the Arts grant has been awarded that will allow some small gateway signs and art in the Art Center. - Kim gave an update on the board's transformation strategies and work plan.
