Consideration and possible action on a request for a Main Street sign grant for the
Williamson County Art Guild located at 708 Rock Street - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown &
Tourism Director

reviewed and scored by the board for the amount of $395.00..

Consideration and possible action to approve the cost of the 2024 Downtown
Christmas Ornament - Michelle Jaroszewski-Webb, Board Chair
Moved by Jennifer L Ridings-myhra; seconded by Markus Lindsey to Approve the
increase in the cost of the 2024 Christmas Ornament to $25.00..

1.F Project Team & Project Updates
Discussion on Project Teams, Partner updates, and BRE Visits -: Michele: Jaroszewski
Webb, Board Chair
• Coffee & Cocoa Crawl - sold over 200 tickets so far, 100 of those were sold on day
1. Theme for this year's event is "flannel."
• Main Street signed up as a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday
and will be doing the proclamation on the 2nd Tuesday in November at City
Council.
• Georgetown Swirl - planning is underway for the event next year. Tickets will go
on sale on December 2nd.
• Breakfast Bites - October's event was a success and there was a great turn out.
The next event will be on November 19th.
• Jingle & Mingle - this event will be on November 21 st from 4:00pm - 8:30pm.
• Preservation Georgetown - Home Tour will be on December 14th and 15th.
• BRE Visits - Business inventory program has been progressing and Kim is
conducting Business Retention Visits with businesses that have requested a visit
while completing the inventory survey.

Staff Report ' kjrn McAuliffe, Downtown and Tourism Director
• No changes to the Facade Fund. Starting this year with $95,000.00 for grant
funding. $5,000.00 of that will go towards the events throughout the year due to
pricing increases.
m Blazin' Beer Crawl will be moved to the last Saturday in September. The board is
considering changing the Beer Crawl into an Octoberfest event and partnering
with the D(SA.Acouple mfthe board members will attend ajoint meeting |n
November tndiscuss further.
