Strategic Partnerships for Community Services Advisory Board

August 7, 2021
The Strategic Partnerships for Community Services Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
met on Thursday, August 7, 2021 at 8:11 a.m.
Members Present: Paul Secord, Andy Webb, Natalia Ornelas, Jerry Haecker, Stacy Mading
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Shirley J. Rinn, Executive Assistant to the City Manager
Member of the Public: Imani Jenkins, summer intern
MINUTES
A. Roll Call --Paul Secord, SPCS Advisory Board Chair
All members were present, as well as staff liaison, Shirley Rinn and summer intern, Imani Jenkins.
B. Call to Order--Paul Secord, SPCS Advisory Board Chair
The meeting was called to order by President, Paul Secord, at 8:14 a.m.
C. Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes from the May 27, 2021 SPCS Advisory
Board Meeting —Paul Secord, Advisory Board Chair
Motion by Haecker, second by Mading to approve the Minutes from the May 27, 2021 SPCS Advisory
Board Meetings. Approved 5-0
D. Discussion and possible action regarding the allocation recommendations to be made to the City
Council for funding of the Strategic Partnerships for Community Services (SPCS) Grants for FY 2021-
22-Paul Secord, SPCS Advisory Board Chair
The Advisory Board discussed the process it would follow while discussing the grant applications
and determining the allocation recommendations for the City Council. The Advisory Board then
vetted the Applications, including the following agencies and made the following
recommendations:

Motion by Webb, second by Mading to approve the allocation recommendations to be made to the
City Council for funding of the Strategic Partnerships for Community Services (SPCS) Grants for FY
2021-22. Approved 5-0
