Lynn Jones-Eaton, Scott La Grone, Ron Lehrer, Carolyn Martin, John Philpott, Joseph Pondrom, Linda Turner, Claire Vogler Consideration of minutes of Meeting of September 28, 2000 This item was not handled. Report from Randy Morrow, Director of Parks and Recreation Morrow presented a slide presentation of the current park facilities and those facilities that have been requested by citizens. Kimberly Garrett reported the results of the 1996 Citizen Survey. Morrow was asked to later provide the budget for the Parks and Recreation Division. It was pointed out that a Fee Study will be done after the first of the year. It was noted that cemetery maintenance cost the City $40,000 last year. Discussion, questions, and possible action regarding Park Report There were questions and comments from the Committee. Discussion of related facilities needs Claire Vogler will bring information to the Committee regarding the need for a new library building. Discussion of items for future agendas John Philpott and Tracy Dubcak were asked to share their upcoming presentation to the City Council at the next meeting of the Funding Committee on October 12. Discussion and possible action on future meeting dates, times, and locations Subsequent Meetings: Thursday, October 12, presentation by Jim Briggs on Transportation Needs, in the Council Chamber; Monday, October 30, in the Council Chamber; to meet with financial consultants from First Southwest Company, and Thursday, November 2, in the Police Department Training Room Adjournment Adjourned at 7:45 p.m. These minutes were submitted by City Secretary Sandra Lee.
