The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board will meet on Monday, May 12, 2003 at 04:30 PM in the Parks and
Recreation Conference Room, 1003 North Austin Ave., Georgetown, Texas.

The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board provides a means for youth to unite the community,
promote healthy decisions and create leadership skills to create solutions for the benefit of all.

Regular Meeting
I.CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Wes calls the meeting to order at 4:40 PM at the Parks and Recreations Conference room.
II.DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON CALENDAR
Discussed dates for upcoming GYAB events: May 17, 2003, Seniors Pool Party at the
San Gabriel Pool, June 15, 2003, Movie Night at Williams Drive Pool for Middle schoolers, July
20, 2003, Movie Night for Middle schoolers. Possible movie titles: What A Girl Wants, Agent
Cody Banks. Vacation Party for high school students will be August 23, 2003, at Williams Drive
Pool. Flyers can be put out at Sonic for advertising. Summer GYAB meetings will be the 2nd
and 4th, Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center. Jillian Daleiden would
like to go out to the Challenge Course May 18th with the Georgetown Project.
III.DISSCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ELECTION OF NEW OFFICERS
Election of new officers was held to replace graduating Seniors and term limits.
Chairperson - Jillian Daleiden, Vice- Chairperson - Melody Varner, Secretary - Candice Butler,
Sargent at Arms - Travis Hobbs, Treasure - Jennifer Daleiden.
IV.DISSCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON GRADUATION PARTY
Seniors Pool Party will be from 4-10 p.m. on May 17, 2003. Food and swimming with
all members invited. Bring a guest.
V.ADJOURN
Travis Hobbs motions to adjourn the meeting. Lisa Foster seconds.
