Parks and Recreation Administration Conference Room, located at 1101 N. College Street, Georgetown,
Texas

The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Tuesday , September
18, 2007.
Board Members Present:
Jacob Wolfman, Rachel McNutt, Melissa McNutt, Amanda Emerson, Kate Doocy, Crystal Pratt, Kelsey
Wright, Elizabeth Breen(visitor), Sam Doocy(visitor), Ryan Varner(guest)
Board Members Absent:
acqueline Soberanes, Will Foster, Adam McDonald, Corey Pearson, Morgan Lyons
Staff Present:
Brenda J. Culver, Staff Liason
Minutes
Regular Meeting
1.Meeting called to orderat 5:143 p.m. by Chairperson Amanda Hanson-Emerson.
2.Yvette Rose induct Kelsey Wright into the Board.
3. Discussion and possible action on participation in Haunted Hayride lead by Jacob
Wolfman. Theme for this years scene is Scary Jack-in-the Boxes.
4. Report to City Council will be after the GYAB Retreat this year, as this has been listed as
a goal for the Board
5. Melissa McNutt opens the discussion on the Calendar. Brenda will be making a new
GYAB calendar for the years activities for the next meeting. Next meeting will be October 2, 07.
Possible retreat dates November 2-3, or 9-10, 2007. Boardmembers will check their calendars,
Brenda will check with Rec. staff to ensure availability of staff.
6. Discussion and possible action on Recruiting at Middle School & 9th Grade Center will
be scheduled for spring 2008.
7.Kate Doocy moves to adjourn at 5:54 p.m. Rachel McNutt seconds. All in favor7-0
