and Recreation Conference Room, 1003 North Austin Ave., Georgetown, Texas.

The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board provides a means for youth to unite the community,
promote healthy decisions and create leadership skills to create solutions for the benefit of all.

The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Tuesday , January 30,
2007.
Board Members Present:
Candice Butler, Rachel McNutt, Melissa McNutt, Amanda Emerson, Kate Doocy, Crystal Pratt, Will
Foster, Adam McDonald, Morgan Lyons
Board Members Absent:
Ann Evans, Kammie Wolfman, Erin Hildebrandt, Jacob Wolfman, Corey Pearson, Jacqueline
Soberanes

Regular Meeting
Call to Order at 05:00 PM
Youth Advisory Board Mission Statement
The Georgetown Youth Advisory Board provides a means for youth to unite the community,
promote healthy decisions and create leadership skills to create solutions for the benefit of all.
1.The Board meeting was called to ordear at 5:34 p.m.by Candice Butler.
2.Brenda opens the discussionof the Budget Survey for 2007/2008. Members complete
their surveys and they will be sent to the Finance Department for review.
3. Meeting Minutes for 1/09/07 are reviewed. Kate Doocy makes a motion to approve the
minutes, Will foster seconds. All in favor 9-0.
4. Amanda Emerson open the discussion on the Calendar, upcoming events: Cupid's Chase
is Saturaday, February 10 meet at the Rec. Center for our water station assignment. February
17th is the Leading the Stampede Summitt in Fort Worth. The presentation to City Council will
be onMarch 26, 2007, at Council Chambers.
5.Discussion and possible action on GYAB Retreat lead by Brenda. Rachel McNutt
motions to make March 23-24 , 2007, the date for the GYAB Retreat. Candice Butler seconds.
All in favor 9-0.
6.Meeting adjourned by Will Foster. Seconded be Rachel McNutt.
