Board Members Present: Alicia Kellum, Rachel Konovodoff, Sara Peacock, Dylan Ragan, Bailey Vandegrift, Tyler Willrich Board Members Absent: Kokie Cummings, Audrie Cummings, Claire Janes, Frances Stone, Parker Tadlock Staff Present: Katie Sofranko Minutes Regular Meeting Meeting called to order at 6:00pm 1.Dylan Ragan motioned and Sara Peacock seconded to approve minutes from March 21 and April 4 meetings. 2.GYAB reviewed and discussed The Red Poppy Fest Parade. It was agreed that it was a success and would be done again in the upcoming year, along with more planning and maybe even a trailer. As a whole, it went very well and it was enjoyable. It will help GYAB’s name be spread throughout the Georgetown community. 3.The GYAB continued planning for the upcoming park cleanup event. It was set for April 30 th at 11am until 1. Supplies needed are trash and recycling bags; and gloves. GYAB was to wear old clothes that could get dirty and meet at the Teen Center. After the cleanup the volunteers would head back and get some pizza. 4.GYAB planned for Georgetown City Limits. Five interested bands have called and live music was now scheduled to be played. To set up, GYAB needs to get there at 5:30 to set up. The possibility of judges and prizes were discussed. Bailey Vandegrift is going to call Kenz Guitars to see if GYAB can get gift certificates as prizes; if not there is the possibility of getting VISA gift cards. This event would start at 7pm in the teen courtyard. There would be pizza, soda, t-shirts, air brush tattoos and glowsticks. Dylan and Rachel will check in tables and Sara and Claire will sell t-shirts. The whole GYAB will be the judges. Meeting Adjourned at 6:30pm.
