The Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board met on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at West Side
Service Center, 5501 Williams Drive.
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If

This is a Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board meeting scheduled every second Thursday of the
month.
The following Members were in attendance:
Present were: Michael G. Morrison, Steve Fought, Tina Geiselbrecht, Ron Garland, Brian Birdwell,
Kevin Pitts
On a subiect that is posted on this ertda. Please fill out speaker registration form which can be found on the
table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you
wish to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to
speak when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the
meeting being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to
speak for six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor's granted time to speak. No more than six
minutes for a speaker may be granted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form
and be present at the meeting.

1.0 Minutes of the March 14, 2024 and April 11,-2024 Meetings
Review and possible action to approve the minutes from the March 14, 2024 and April
11, 2024 meetings of the Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board -- Deniece Villela,

Any updates will be highlighted at the meeting. The Directors Report, Water

Solomon led Directors' Report updates. Hinze Weber reviewed Water Supply Project.
Van Dyke reviewed Water Communications Plan (hand out to members) as well as
reviewed the Community presentation... Pousson presented CIP updates.
1.E Task Order Amendment for CDM Smith CDM-22-002 Lake WTP EPSS
Consideration and possible recommendation to City Council to approve the First
Amendment to Task Order CDM-22-002-TO with CDM Smith, Inc. professional services
related to the Georgetown Lake Water Treatment Plant Emergency Power Supply
System (EPSS) project in the amount of $135,000.00 - Wesley Wright, P.E., Systems
Engineering Director, and Chris Pousson, CIP Manager

Wright reviewed proposed FY 2025 Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Plan.
Executive Session

Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to action in the
regular session.
