The Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board met on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at West Side
Service Center, 5501 Williams Drive.
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you

The following Members were in attendance:
Present were: Brian Birdwell, Kevin Pitts, Ercel Brashear, William C Gedney, Steve Fought
Please fill out speaker registration form which can be found on the
table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you wish
to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to speak
when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the meeting
being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to speak for
six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor's granted time to speak. No more than six minutes for a
speaker may be granted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form and be present
at the meeting.
A request must be received by the Advisory Board or Commission Liaisor
prior to the day the agenda for this meeting is posted. Each speaker will be given three minutes to address the
Board or Commission members. No action can be taken.
At the time of posting, no one signed up to speak.

1.0 Minutes of the November 14, 2024 Meeting
Review and possible action to approve the minutes from the November 14, 2024
meeting of the Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board -- Deniece Villela, Board

1.D Updates from Directors
Any updates will be highlighted at the meeting. The Fourth Quarter Financial Report
and CIP updates are attached. The Director's Report will be presented at the meeting,
Chelsea Solomon, Water Utility Director
Solomon reviewed Director's Report. Pousson shared projects currently in construction.
Cantu presented the Fourth Quarter Financial Report.
1.E Change Order #1 for the Lake Water Treatment Plant Emergency Power Supply
System Project
Consideration and possible recommendation to City Council to approve Change Order
#1 with T. Morales Company Electric & Controls, Ltd. of Georgetown, Texas for the
Georgetown Lake Water Treatment Plant Emergency Power Supply System Project in
the amount of $2,184,626.00 -- Wesley Wright, P.E., Systems Engineering Director and
Chris Pousson, CIP Manager

Wastewater Treatment Plant
Consideration and possible recommendation to City Council to approve a professional
services agreement with Freese & Nichols for professional services associated with the
Northlands Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in the amount of $2,586,894.00 --

Presentation and discussion of water supply agreement with Gatel-louse Water, LLC --
Laurie Brewer, Assistant City Manager, and Chelsea Solomon, Water Utility Director
Brewer presented the Gatel-louse water agreement approved by Council on December
30,2024.
