The Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board met on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 200 PM at West Side Service Center, 5501 Williams Drive. The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The following Members were in attendance: Present were: Tina Geiselbrecht, Ron Garland, Brian Birdwell, Kevin Pitts, Ercel Brashear, William C Gedney Please fill out speaker registration form which can be found on the table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you wish to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to speak when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the meeting being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to speak for six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor's granted time to speak. No more than six minutes for a speaker may be granted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form and be present at the meeting. A request must be received by the Advisory Board or Commission Liaisor prior to the day the agenda for this meeting is posted. Each speaker will be given three minutes to address the Board or Commission members. No action can be taken. At the time of posting, no one signed up to speak. No one was present. No action required. 1.A Call to Order Call to Order -- Ron Garland, Chair Garland called meeting to order at 1:58 p.m. 1.6 Introduction of Board Members, Staff Members, and Visitors Introduction of Board Members, Staff Members, and Visitors -- Ron Garland, Chair Garland led introductions of all in attendance. 1.0 Minutes of the April 10, 2025 Meeting Review and possible action to approve the minutes from the April 10, 2025 meeting of the Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board -- Deniece Villela, Board Liaison Moved by Brian Birdwell; seconded by Ercel Brashear to Approve . Motion Approved: 6- 0 Voting For: Tina Geiselbrecht, Ron Garland, Brian Birdwell, Kevin Pitts, Ercel Brashear, William C Gedney Voting Against: None 1.D Updates from Directors Any updates will be highlighted at the meeting. The Director's Report a nd CIP updates are attached -- Chelsea Solomon, Water Utility Director Solomon led an overview of the Director's Report. Savannah G and Shelby Chew updated on conservation programs and rebates. Pousson presented on CIP projects in construction and proposed FY26 projects. 1.E Change Order #1 with M&C Fonseca Construction for Carriage Oaks Waterline Improvements Project Consideration and possible recommendation to City Council to approve the first change order to the contract with M&C Fonseca Construction Co. of Granite Shoals, Texas, for the Carriage Oaks Waterline Improvement Project in the amount of $662,770.00 -- Wesley Wright, P.E., Systems Engineering Director Moved by Brian Birdwell; seconded by Tina Geiselbrecht to Approve. Motion Approved: 6- 0 Voting For: Tina Geiselbrecht, Ron Garland, Brian Birdwell, Kevin Pitts, Ercel Brashear, William C Gedney Voting Against: None 1.F Construction Contract with Bell Contractors, Inc. for the Aviation at IH 35 Waterline Project Consideration and possible recommendation to City Council to award a contract to Bell Contractors, Inc. of Belton, Texas, for the construction of the Aviation/IH 35 Waterline project in the amount of $1,855,065.81 -- Wesley Wright, P.E., Systems Engineering Director, and Chris Pousson, CIP Manager Moved by Ercel Brashear; seconded by William C Gedney to Approve Motion Approved: 6- 0 Voting For: Tina Geiselbrecht, Ron Garland, Brian Birdwell, Kevin Pitts, Ercel Brashear, William C Gedney Voting Against: None Adjournment - r4r-Ill• 2MOMIM of 3LLvt-C 12-4± 202-5 Attest
