I pro City Secretary's Office, at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled meeting date, at (512) 930-3652 or City Hall at 808 Martin Luther King, Jr Street for additional information; TTY users route through Relay Texas at 711. The following Members were in attendance: Present were: Trisha R Tallman, Michele D Jaroszewski-Webb, Lauren A Romero, Rachel Cummins, Jennifer L Ridings-myhra, Evan Cuyler, Markus Lindsey 1. Regular Session 1.A Call to order Call to order - Michele jaroszewski-Webb, Board Chair 9:02 am 1-B Approval of minutes Consideration and approval of the February 14, 2025 minutes - Michele jaroszewski- Webb, Board Chair Moved by Markus Lindsey; seconded by Trisha RTallman toApprove . Motion Approved: 7- 0 Voting For: Trisha R Tallman, Michele D jaroszewski-Webb, Lauren A Romero, Rachel Cummins, Jennifer L Ridings-myhra, Evan Cuyler, Markus Lindsey Voting Against: None I.0 Board Volunteer Time Record board volunteer time - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown and Tourism Director Board members entered their volunteer time for the month. I Z Facade & Sign Grant Fund Application Discussion and possible action on a Main Street Sign Grant request for The Georgetown Winery - 715 S. Main Street - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown & Tourism Director Moved by Markus Lindsey; seconded by Evan Cuyler to Approve the amount of $1,000 to be awarded to The Georgetown Winery. Motion Approved: 7- 0 Voting For: Trisha R Tallman, Michele D Jaroszewski-Webb, Lauren A Romero, Rachel Cummins, Jennifer L Ridings-myhra, Evan Cuyler, Markus Lindsey Voting Against: None 1.E Project Team & Project Updates Discussion on Project Teams, Partner updates, and BRE Visits Michele Jaroszewski Webb, Board Chair Georgetown Swirl - This year's event was a sold -out event on Saturday, March 1 st. The VIP Event was a fabulous event and had great reviews. Staff and the Event board will be reviewing the surveys from all participants. $37,548 of revenue was generated from this event. • Blazin' Beer Crawl - Will be on August 2nd. The city has partnered with a new vendor will be introduced to help keep everyone cool. • Breakfast Bites - The next one will be held on March 25th. • Preservation Month Activities - Staff is working to plan these events for the month of May. • Small Business Week Activities - This will be May 6th - May 8th and kickoff with the next Breakfast Bites on May 6th. 1.F Staff Report Staff Report - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown and Tourism Director • Facade Grant Update - $8,986.50 has been paid out so far this year, leaving a balance of $86,013.50. • Stromberg Hoffman was repainting their building. • New Businesses to Downtown • Haji Moto Ramen & Sake Bar is going in on the corner of 7th and Church. • Georgie's will go in where Barrels and Amps used to be on 8th street. • Juniper Cocktails and Kitchen will be going in the 1 st floor of block 37. • Parking Garage - Is on schedule to be completed and opened by November. • Main Street Visit - National Main Street Director, Erin Barnes, came in to visit Georgetown. Kim took her around downtown Georgetown and talked with her about opportunities for Georgetown. • Kim will be hosting Downtown Managers in Georgetown as part of their training in June. Main Street Board Retreat will be on May 9th in Brenham, TX. Adjournment Moved by Jennifer L Ridings-myhra; seconded by Trisha R Tallman to Adjourn 9:50am.
