Dear Board Member:
Please make a special effort to attend the Library Board
meeting at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 5.
We were unable to transact business in November for lack
of a quorum. Also, this is the last meeting for Mrs. Weir,
Mrs. Elliott, Mr. Gold, Mr. Williams, and Mrs. Seever.
I have written to the City Council pointing out the large
number of places to be filled and requesting that they
act expeditiously so that the new board may start to
function in January. If you have suggestions for persons
to be appointed, please submit those names (after checking
with the individuals to be sure they would serve . . .
otherwise, we are spinning a lot of wheels).
I will look forward to seeing you on the fifth.
