Library Board Meeting - January 9, 1985 - 11:00 A.M.
Members present: Parker McCollough, Dorian Sullivan, Gwen Morrison,
Nancy Benold, Marjorie Herbert, Verne Philpot
Treasurer's Report: Read and accepted.
Mrs. Philpot's Report: Most pressing need is money for more staff
and better salaries.
Old Business: There will be a meeting of the Friends of the Library
on Thursday, January 17, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. in the Library. Parker McCollough
will follow up on nominatians to the Board.
New Business: Copies of By-laws given to new members. Parker McCollough
to investigate possible city sites for future use of Library facility.
Dorian Sullivan to check with Heritage Society on status of International House.
Marjorie Herbert moved that officers be accepted by acclamation as follows:
Parker McCollough
Nancy Benold
Dorian Sullivan
Gwen Morrison
- President
- Vice -President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 6, 1985 at 11:00 A.M.
