LIBRARY BOARD MEETING - March 4, 1986 - 11:00 A.M.'
Members Present: Gwen Morrison, Verne Philpot, Parker McCollough,
Nancy Benold, Marjorie Youngman, Linda Davis,
Winfred Bonner, Dorian Sullivan, Nancy Snead
Old Business: No.rl
New Business: Carl Doering addressed issue of Title II money.
Bill Gooch had expressed that this was a negotiable situation.
Mr. Doering asked that we pin down details on this issue.
Possibility of using building for archives.
Questions arose concerning grants --who is responsible --City
Manager and Head Librarian. Librarian should target grants
with help of Board. Should address issue of grants after Bond
Election.
Model Displayed: March 3 - First National Bank
March 10 - Georgetown National Bank
March 17 - Citizens State Bank
March 24 - Certified Savings
March 31 - Library
City Council authorized and paid $11,126.80 to Hidell. Surveying
and Engineering fees of $2,100 to Steger & Bizell.
Ask each club for an endorsement of the Library by Monday, March 31,
and let Linda Davis or Parker McCollough know.
Meeting adjourned at 12:00.
