Library Board Meeting - January 6, 1987 at 12:00 noon
Members Present: Parker McCollough, Nancy Snead, Marjorie Youngman,
Marjorie Herbert, Linda Davis, Gwen Morrison,
Dorian Sullivan, Verne Philpot, Nancy Benold,
Winfred Bonner
City Reps. Bob Gaylor, Hartley Sappington
Old Business:
1. The feeling of board appears to lean toward concrete parking lot
rather than changing order to brick pavers.
2. Linda Davis has sent out a letter and received six responses con-
cerning user fees in areas of similar population as Georgetown.
3. Bob Gaylor reported on automation in libraries of similar size as
Georgetown (North Richland Hills and Grapevine). Suggested visiting
Grapevine at some point in future to observe their system. System
we need will cost around $50,000. Software company is very flexible
and willing to tailor to our needs.

2. Interviews will be Tuesday and Wednesday, January 13 and 14 from
6-9 PM in the First National Bank Conference Room (south door).
3. Marjorie Youngman will compile a list of questions to ask each
candidate.
