This year's grant will total $4,625 worth of books and one professional journal subscription. In addition to the above figure, we received a $1200 bonus book purchase in August. This bonus represents one dollar for each book, over the 600 original estimate, loaned to Round Rock users during this year. This bonus purchased children's and informational books. The grant also includes services, including continued use of two PC computers, participation in and use of the CaTaLySt catalog of holdings in area libraries, consulting services from professionals in various areas, free workshops on different subjects, summer reading club materials and a variety of other services. H. EDUCATION End. Well-educated residents plus ra wide array of educational opportunities at all levels and far all ages End. A Public Library that meets the needs of the community Projected Means. 1. Add full time Reference Service and provide access to a range of electronic information, 2. Increase book budget to cover cast of books and cataloging in order to upgrade collection. Expenditures should be based on national norms reflecting inflation and. circulation. Cataloging capacity should be adequate to eliminate existing and prevent future backlogs, 3. Develop services target to youth, including educational support through collection and. services. . Provide services to special needs populations, and to residents unable to visit the Library building. ' The Projected Means that are currently _ listed in the February, 1993, Century Plan Deport should be replaced with these new Projected Means. IV. FACILITIES AND SERVICES End.
