Mary Pat McLaughlin distributed to the Board the latest draft from the Texas Library Association of Guidelines for Texas Public Libraries. Mary Pat reported that a patron had complained about the book "Children and the Aids Virus". The motion was seconded by Judi Shanklin, and passed unanimously. Mary Pat said that the library staff is making up a 'Request for Reconsideration' form for the use of patrons who have a complaint about a book.
