Dear *k,,.o - 1-4
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know my thoughts regarding the Summer
Reading Program. My children ages 8 and 10 have participated in the program for
three years. The program has enabled them to improve their skills in Reading, Social Studies,
Art, etc. This was all due to the variety of activities Mrs. Rosa provided on a daily basis.
The program provided participation from children of all ages.
This year, there were so many who wanted to participate in activities that were not a part
of the first 66 participants; Mrs. Rosa made special provisions for the additional kids to be
included in the days' activities. She always had some form of reward for the children such
as: coupons, treats, stickers, bookmarks and the list goes on. Every year her creativity amazes
me!
My children and I look forward to participating again next year.
In addition, I would like to commend the efforts of the volunteers and support staff.
Sincerely,
Karen Rodriquez

Board Members,
Please accept the check enclosed as a contribution to the Georgetown Library, on behalf of Mr.
Harry Gold. These funds represent excess funds raised for the statue of Harry Gold located on the
courthouse lawn. We know that Harry had a great fondness for the Library, and would want these funds to
go for this purpose. We wish the Library the greatest success in the future.
