paid for said land the sum of One Thousand ($10000) Dollars in cash,and

power of Eminent Domain over all of the above-described land, and
WAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas# and the Georgetown
Independent School District consider that 'the use of amid land
for school purposes is a better public use of said land than
its present use, and
WHEREAS, the offer made for said land by Georgetown Independent
School District, is fair and reasonable, and it is to the best
interests of the said City that same be accepted, 4

authorized the Mayor to sign' a deed of conveyance to said Tract
No. 1, and said deed has been so executed and duly plaeed'of record,and
WHEMS0 said prior resolution and deed should have covered
both said Tracts No, 1 and No. 2,
THSREP'OREs BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Georgetown, Texas; That the City of Georgetown, Texas, accepts
the said offeror Georgetown -Independent School District, to
purchase the said 2.65 acre tract of land and the said 0.1 acre
tract,of land being Traats'No. 1 and No. 2, for the cash consideration
of -One Thousand ($1,000) Drllars, and,that �awleigh S, Elliott,
Mayor of this City,'is,hereby authorized'and directed to make and
deliver to -the said Georgetown Independent School District a good
,and sufficient Deed of Conveyance covering said Tract No..2, said
gash,consideration of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars having already
been paid to the said City of Georgetown
