QLA Z9,Z6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR BUNDLED THIRD -PARTY ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES; PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SERVICES; COBRA ADMINISTRATION, EMPLOYEE WORKS SERVICES, AND DISEASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS TO UNITED HEALTHCARE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO SUCH CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City competitively advertised its Request for Proposals (RFP) 20260331 on January 8, 2026, for Employee Benefits requesting proposals that include third - party administration of the medical and prescription plans; medical provider and prescription plan network(s); onsite registered dietitian or health coach; chronic disease management programs; and mental health services programs; WHEREAS, the City received eight (8) proposals in response to RFP 20260331; WHEREAS, the City evaluated the eight (8) proposals and recommends awarding the contract to United Healthcare to provide bundled Third -Party Administrative Services; Pharmacy Management Services; COBRA Administration, Employee Works Services, and disease management programs. No award for independent pharmacy management and no independent award for Point Solutions. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is appropriate to accept the following benefit coverage proposal: the proposal from United Healthcare offering bundled Third -Party Administrative Services; Pharmacy Management Services; COBRA Administration, Employee Work Services, and disease management programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. Section 2. The City Council hereby approves the award of the contract listed above. Section 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to negotiate and sign the final contract. Section 4. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to negotiate and sign renewals of the above contract as long as such renewals do not deviate more than 7% of the initial per employee per month proposal price. Section 5. The Mayor is authorized to sign the Resolution and the City Secretary to Resolution No. - 6.0 Page 1 of 2 Awarding the Contract for Third -Party Administrative Services, Pharmacy Management Services; and Point Solutions April 28, 2026 attest. Section 6. This Resolution shall become effective and be in full force and effect immediately. PASSED AND APPROVED this 28tYd pri12026.
