Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas to
abandon and sell. to Southwestern University, the follovrin'T streets on
the Campus i:o era'hle then to erect and par-inM lots.
1. All. of Olive Street from its intersection with the
oouth line of Anderson Addition to th.e youth li.ne of
Ninth Street.
2. '.11 of TTinth Street from its intersection with Olive
Street to the East line of Laurel street;
3. All of Laurel Street from its intersection with Ninth
Street to a line runninE North 67 Fast across the width
of Laurel Street, the center point of such line being
located 11 feet South of the intersection of the North
line of 10th Street with the center line of Laurel Street.
The Unizrersity is to open and pave 'darle Street from 12th, Street to 7th,
Street.
The T.ayor of said City is hereby* directed to execute a deed on
behalf of the City conveyinr above described property to Southwestern
University.
That a necessity exists Viat this resolution be at once passed
and is so ordered.
Passed this the 14th. day of January 1957.
