June 27, 1970
The City Council met in called session on the above date, with
Mayor Jay C. Sloan, presiding. The following councilmen and officials
were present Hubert Brock, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, City Manager'
Leo Wood, Asst. City Manager Claud Eads, City Attorney Joe McMaster,
Water & Sewer Supt. J. D. Tinning, and Skip Mills with the Williamson
County Sun.
Hi -lift Pump Motion by Brock and seconded by Lanes that the bid submitted by
Bid Southwest Pump and Supply for Iii -Lift Pump and accessories Laithe amount
of i$6,827.65 be accept4d. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Alvin Braun Alvin Braun Commission Company requested from the Council a continued
Commisbion lease on approximately 35 acres of land north of the High School Football
Company Stadium. Mr. Braun wanted to build permanent holding pens for cattle
on about 3 acres of this land. Council decided to take request under ad-
visement and further study.
Harold Parker Motion by Brock and seconded by Crawford that resolution and or -
Country Club dinance for dedication and annexation of Harold Parker subdivision,
Unit No. 4 Country Club Unit no. 4, be approved and accepted, subject to approval
of City Attorney Joe McMaster. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

There being no further business on a motion by Wininger and seconded
by Brock the meeting adjourned.
