VACATING OF GABRIEL HEIGHTS RESUBDIVISION NO. 1
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
WHEREAS, Russell Parker and wife, Irene Williams Parker, conveyed lots 12
through 16 in Block 4, and Lots 12 through 15 in Block 6 of the Gabriel Heights Addition
to the City of Georgetown, Texas, according to the map or plat of said Addition of record
in Volume 4, page 25 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, along with other
properties, to Grady R. Watkins and wife, Haven Watkins, by Deed dated January 2,
1969, recorded in Volume 513, Page 437, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
by Correction Deed recorded in Volume 554, Page 471, Deed Records of Williamson
County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the said Grady R. Watkins and wife, Haven Watkins, were desirous of
resubdividing said lots; and,
WHEREAS, Grady R. Watkins, as Owner, did cause said lots to be resubdivided as
Gabriel Heights Resubdivision No. 1 ", the plat of said resubdivision, together with the
necessary instruments resubdividing said lots being of record in Volume 6, page 8 of the
Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, reference being here made to all of said
instruments and records thereof for all pertinent purposes; and,
WHEREAS, in the resubdivision instruments, the said Grady R. Watkins, through
error or oversight, was not joined by his wife, Haven Watkins; and,

WHEREAS, said error or oversight has caused certain title problems, and the said Grady
R. Watkins and wife, Haven Watkins, are desirous of vacating said resubdivision, and restoring
said lots as they were on the original map or plat of said Gabriel Heights Addition, of
record in Volume 4, Page 25, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, no soles of any of the property in said resubdivision have been made
by the owners of said property since the filing of said resubdivisiorand,
WHEREAS, the said Grady R. Watkins and wife, ,Haven Watkins, are the sole
owners of all of said property, and it is necessary that the plan or plat of said resub-
division be vacated as such.
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That Grady R.
Watkins and wife, Haven Watkins, being the sole owners of the aforementioned land,
do hereby declare that the plan or plat of the "Gabriel Heights Resubdivision No. 1" of
record in Volume 6, page 8 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, is hereby
and in all things VACATED, and that no further conveyances shall be made with respect
to said plan or palt of said "Gabriel Heights Resubdivision No. 1" as now filed of record
in the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and they further hereby declare that
said Lots 12 through 16 in Block 4, and lots 12 through 15 in Block 6 of the Gabriel
Heights Addition to the City of Georgetown, shall be and are hereby re-established for all
intents and purposes as they were prior to the attempted resubdivision thereof, and as they
appear on the original map or plat of the Gabriel Heights Addition of record in Volume 4,
page 25 of the Plat Records of Wi I I iamson County, Texas.

BEFORE ME, the undersigned, a Notary Public in and for said County and State,
on this day personally appeared GRADY R. WATKINS, and wife, HAVEN WATKINS,
know to me to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument,
and acknowledged to me that they executed the same for the purposes and consideration
therein expressed.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A WRITTEN INSTRUMENT
DECLARING GABRIEL HEIGHTS RESUBDIVISION NO. T IN THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, TO BE VACATED.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the
present and sole owners of "Gabriel Heights Resubdivision No. 1" in the City of George-
town, Williamson County, Texas, as fully set out, described and shown in the Plat of said
Resubdivision of record in Volume 6, Page 8 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas,
are hereby authorized to file for record in the Office of the County Clerk of Williamson
County, Texas, the instrument attached hereto for the vacating of said "Gabriel Heights
Resubdivision No. 1" and re-establishing the original lots forming said Resubdivision as
they appeared on the plat of the Gabriel Heights Addition to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, of record in Volume 4, page 25, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
that the vacating of said "Gabriel Heights Resubdivision No. 1" and re-establishing the
lots forming the same as they originally were, meet with the approval of the City Council
of the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and the execution and recordation
of this instrument in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, shall

operate to destroy the force and effect of the recording of the plan or plat of "Gabriel
Heights Resubdivision No. I".
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 10th day of December, A.D. 1973.

That I, Claud Eads, Secretary of the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, do
hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution is a true and correct representation and
exemplification of the original Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, at a regular meeting duly held, at which a quorum was present,
on the 10th day of December, A.D. 1973.
