RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTICN

STATE OF TEXAS
V CITY OF GEORGETOWN
V On this the 3rd day of June,
Texas, convened in Special session
with the following members present,
JOE E. CRAWFORD,
HARRY GOLD
HUBERT BROCK
DEE W. SCOTT
J. D. WININGER
WILLIAM EANES
W. L. WALDEN,
1974, the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
at the regular designated meeting place in the City
to wit:
Mayor
Councilmen
City Secretary
and the following absent: None.
A quorum being present and after the following resolution was read, Councilman
Gold moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Wininger. The motion,
carrying with it the adoption of this resolution, prevailed by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Gold, Brock, Scott, Wininger, Eanes;
NOES: None.
The Resolution is as follows:
WHEREAS, each and all of the members of the City Council of said City was duly
and sufficiently notified, officially and personally, in advance, of the time, place and
purpose of this meeting; and
WHEREAS, proper notice has been duly and timely posted as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of two seperate but simultaneous
elections held in the City on June 1, 1974, for the purpose of submitting the following
propositions to the voters of said City for their action thereupon:
PROPOSITION NO.1
SHALL, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to isue the bond
of said City in the amount of $250,000 maturing serially over a period of years not to exceed
30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be determined within
the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of constructing extensions and improve-
ments for the City's electric light system; to be issued in accordance with and secured in
the manner provided by Article 1111, et seq., V.A.T.C.S., as amended, each bond to be
conditioned that the holder thereof shall never have the right to demand payment of said
obligation out of funds raised or to be raised by taxation, and secured by a lien on and
pledge of the net revenues from the operation of the City's combined waterworks, sewer
and electric light system?

PROPOSITION NO.2
SHALL the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to issue the
bonds of said City in the amount of $50,000 maturing serially over a period of years not
to exceed 30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be
determined within the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of constructing
extensions and improvements to the City's waterworks system; to be issued in accordance
with and secured in the manner provided by Article 1111, et seq., V.A.T.C.S., as amended,
each bond to be conditioned that the holder thereof shall never have the right to demand
payment of said obligation out of funds raised or to be raised by taxation, and secured
by a lien on and pledge of the net revenues from the operation of the City's combined
waterworks, sewer and electric light system?,
PROPOSITION NO. 3
SHALL the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds
of said City in the amount of $100,000 maturing serially over a period of years not to
exceed 30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be determined
within the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of constructing a public building
to be used as a Sub Fire Station, and to levy a tax sufficient to pay the interest on said
bonds and create a sinking fund sufficient to redeem them at maturity?
PROPOSITION NO. 4
SHALL the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds
of said City in the amount of $25,000 maturing serially over a period of years not to
exceed 30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be determined
within the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of consturcting street improve-
ments (within Urban Renewal Area), and to levy a tax sufficient to pay the interest on
said bonds and create a sinking fund sufficient to redeem them at maturity?
PROPOSITION NO. 5
SHALL the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds
of said City in the amount of $25,000 maturing serially over a period of years not to exceed
30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be determined within
the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of constructing extensions and improve-
ments to the City's waterworks system (within Urban Renewal Area), and to levy a tax
sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and create a sinking fund sufficient to redeem
them at maturity?
PROPOSITION NO. 6
SHALL the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds
of said Ciiyin the amount of $25,000 maturing serially over a period of years not to exceed
30 years from their date, bearing interest at such rate or rates as shall be determined within
the discretion of said City Council, for the purpose of constructing extensions and improve-
ments to the City's sewer system (within Urban Renewal Area), and to levy a tax sufficient
to pay the interest on said bonds and create a sinking fund sufficient to redeem them at
maturity?
WHEREAS, it appearing from the returns, duly and lawfully made, that there were
cast at the election, where only the resident qualified voters who own taxable property
in the City and who have duly rendered the some for taxation voted, valid and legal
votes as follows:

AND, WHEREAS, it appearing from the returns, duly and lawfully made, that
there were cast, at the other election, where all other resident qualified voters of the

City voted, valid and legal votes as follows:
PROPOSITION NO. 1 FOR 50 AGAINST 21
PROPOSITION NO. 2 FOR 51 AGAINST 20
PROPOSITION NO.- 3 FOR 54 AGAINST 22
PROPOSITION NO. 4 FOR 46 AGAINST 25

IT IS THEREFORE FOUND, DECLARED AND SO RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That a majority of the legally qualified p rope rty'taxpayi ng voters who own taxable
property in said City and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voted for the
issuance of the bonds, as submitted in Proposition No. 1.
That a majority of the resident qualified voters, being the legally qualified tax-
paying voters who own taxable property in the City and who duly rendered same for
taxation and the other resident qualified voters, voted for the issuance of the bonds,
as submitted in Proposition No. 1.
QJ That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable

property in said City and who had duly rendered the some for taxation, voted For the
issuance of the bonds, as submitted in Proposition No. 2.
V That a majority of the resident qual ified voters, being the legally qualified tax-
paying voters who own taxable property in the City and who duly rendered same for
taxation and the other resident qualified voters, voter for the issuance of the bonds, as
submitted in Proposition No. 2.
That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable
property in said City and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voted for the
issuance of the bonds, and the levying of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in
Proposition No. 3.
That a majority of the resident qualified voters, being the legally qualified tax-
paying voters who own taxable property in the City and who duly rendered same for taxation
and the other resident qualified voters, voted for the issuance of the bonds, and the levying
of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition No. 3.
That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable
property in said City and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voted for the
issuance of the bonds, and the levyin§ of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition
No. 4.
That a majority of the resident qualified voters, being the legally qualified taxpaying
voters who own taxable property in the City and who duly rendered some for taxation and
the other resident qualified voters, voted for the issuance of the bonds, and the levying
of a tax in payment hereof, as submitted in Proposition No. 4.
That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable
property in said City and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voted for the
issuance of the bonds, and the levying of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition
No. 5.
That a majority of the resident qualified voters, being the legally qualified taxpaying
voters who own taxable property -in the Ci ty and who duly rendered same for taxation and
the other resident qualified voters, voted for the issuance of the bonds, and the levying
of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition No. 5.
That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable
property in said City and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voted for the
issuance of the bonds, and the levying of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition
No. 6.
That a majority of the resident qualified voters, being the legally qualified taxpaying
voters who own taxable property in the City and who duly rendered same for taxation and
the other resident qualified voters, voted for the issuance of the bonds, and the levying
of a tax in payment thereof, as submitted in Proposition No. 6.

PASSED AND APPROVED at a meeting open to the public this the 3rd. day of June,
1974, after public notice of the 9 me, place and purpose of said meeting was given and
posted as required by law.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That Doyle Lyda, owner of INDUSTRIAL PARK NORTH, a Subdivision of 20.00 acres of
the David Wright Surveys is, hereby authorized to file for record in the office of the
County Clerk of Williamson County, for the Map or Plat of said tract attached hereto,
and that said County Clerk of Williamson County is hereby authorized to accept for filing
and to record said Map of said Tract of Land. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 10th
