HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 08.11.1975 - Urban Renewal Lot & Street Layout400 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE SOUTH SAN GABRIEL PROJECT, TEX R-102, BY CHANGING THE PRO- POSED STREET AND LOT LAYOUT. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to amend the proposed street and lot layout in an area described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached, and as set forth in Exhibit "B" hereto attached, and WHEREAS, the proposed amendment has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Georgetown, Texas on the 5th day of August 1975, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown deems the amendment minor in nature and not requiring a public hearing; now therefore be it RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, that the amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan, South San Gabriel Project, Tex R-102 changing the proposed street and lot layout in the area described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached, and as set forth in Exhibit "B" hereto attached be, and the same is, hereby approved. RESOLUTION RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED, MODIFICATION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE SOUTH SAN GABRIEL PROJECT, TEX R-1021 AND AUTH- ORIZING THE CITY SECRETARY, TO GIVE NOTICE AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the' City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas to modify the Urban Renewal Plan of said South San Gabriel Project, Tex R-102 by changing the designation of the proposed ' Lots I and 2, Block ' l,'South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County.,, 'Texas, and being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, from "RL" Residential to ?" Public; and WHEREAS, such modification has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Georgetown; and WHEREAS'said Urban Renewal Plan required the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas to conduct a public hearing thereon; now therefore be it RESOLVED that a public hearing on such modification be held ' on the 8th day of September, 1975, at'theCity Hall in Georgetown, getown, Texas at 6.30 p.m.:O'clock; and be it further RESOLVED that the City Secretary give notice as required by .law, ADOPTED this 11 th day of August, 1975.
