BE IT ORDAINED BY T iE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GT.ORGETONN, TEXAS. That for year 19t -A, there shall be levied and collected an advalorem tax of sixty five cents(.654 on all property subject to taxation by said City under the consititution and laws of the State of Texas, for fiscal year (Jan. 1st, 1964, to December 31st, 1964, and at &.tom rate of Gt6W on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars in valuation. That when said taxes are collected the same be applied and paid out as follows$ 1. To the General Fund for support and maintenance of the said City, Fifty Seven Cents(.57¢) of each sixty five (.6V) collected. 2. To the Bond Fund of that series of Bonds of the said City, known as Airport Bonds, three (.034 of each sixty five (.65¢) collected. 3. to the Bond Fund of that series of Bonds of the said City known as Street Improvement bond series 1964. Five (.0V) of each sixty five 65) collected. The fact that prompt preparation must be made for the assessment and collection of taxes for the year 19L4, created an emergency requiring the rules providing that an ordinance shall be read at three separate meetings before final passage shall be suspended, and such rules are here and now suspended and this ordinance passed, and it is ordered that it take effect from and after its passege.
