A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT FOR
ELECTRIC SERVICE WITH CITIGROUP TECHNOLOGY, INC.;
REPEALING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Citigroup Technology, Inc. ("Citigroup") plans to continue to operate its
corporate facilities and data centers with an allocated capacity of 15 MW located in Georgetown,
Texas;
WHEREAS, Citigroup desires to continue to receive from the City, and the City desires
to continue to provide to Citigroup, the electric power and energy sufficient for Citigroup's
requirements;
WHEREAS, the City and Citigroup desire to enter into an Agreement for Electric Service
to govern the provision of service to Citigroup.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement for Electric
Service and any other documents and instruments necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms of
the Agreement for Electric Service, and to do all such other acts as in the opinion of the City Manager
may be necessary or appropriate to carry out the purposes and intent herein.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is authorized to sign this Resolution and the City Secretary to
attest.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption. Any
conflicting resolutions are repealed.
