TEXAS TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION
GRANT FUNDS AND TO EXECUTE THE PROGRAM WHEN APPROVED.
WHEREAS, the Department of Ho using and Urban Development is authorized to make
Urban Development Action Grants to those cities which meet the necessary requirements;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has been determined by the Department of
Housing and Urban Development to be eligible for an Urban Development Action Grant.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas authorizes the mayor to submit an application for an Urban Development Action Grant
and to execute the program if received.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 26th day of May 1978.
